Is 2mb version coming, as promised on the upscroll?
I have a working 2MiB version. The price to pay for 2MiB is to have floppy loading time between each part.
But now I wonder if it make sense to release that version, because I guess most of STE owners have 1 or 4MiB, but not 2 right?
A 1MiB only version could be made too, the price to pay will be to remove digital music. Is it a good idea to have a 1MiB version too? - isokadded on the 2017-11-23 00:03:24

- Great music disk, I love it! I had the same idea long time ago but never really tried it. Btw I wonder one technical detail: did you manually mark each song with things such as "in that specific song, SID is on voice A & C", or is it automatic? ( in other way, how did you manage to not enable SID on a drum voice?)

- demo Atari STe We Were @ by Oxygene [web]
- Hi everyone!
"We Were @" music is made of several sample loops, chained in real time depending of loading time, effect sync etc. Anyway I did a standalone version very close to the demo. It's made from the original loops from Clawz so it's 44Khz, 16bits stereo ( Atari version is downsampled to 8bits, 12Khz )
Original full quality (16bits, 44Khz)

And for real atari fans, I did an YM version too! (8bits, 12Khz)

- demotool Windows Atari ST Wild Nintendo DS PackFire v1.6 by Rebels & Neural [web]
- I will test the new version tonight. By curiosity, why the tiny model is limited to 40kb? for instance I can't use large on a multi-part demo because depacking is way too slow (that's normal). why can't I use tiny model even for a 300Kb screen? is there a technical issue?

- Hi!
I just download latest 1.2j and when I pack the kernel of my demo using 1.2j, I can't use tiny mode anymore! It says: "Packing binary file... no tiny mode available for that file."
If I pack the same file using 1.2i, it works in tinymode!
I need the tiny mode for the kernel ( I use the tiny depacker in the demo bootsector)
Do you have a workaround? I always dreamed of a "-ft" (force tiny mode) option... - isokadded on the 2017-03-29 20:41:25
