  I don't think it sounds awesome and I don't hink it sounds awful either :D I'm just surprised by plain harshness of your first comment as you are more than aware of specific platform/technique limitations, being experienced both with 8bit and micro synths ;) It was a bit like saying that AY instruments sound crap without bringing all the factors into equation :P
