• Platform thumb and also good job breaking all the emulators I've tried it with. The best I could get was with BizHawk's PSX core which is based off Mednafen's core.
  
  Even there, I didn't get the effect on the screenshot and the music went out of tune as it progressed. Probably missed out on more stuff but I don't know, can't test on PS1 because the laser's busted, and apparently this demo doesn't work on PS2.
  
  I guess this is supposed to be one of those demos that are made exclusively to crush emulators, considering how it's doing easy things the hard way just because. I like those, so that's a plus for me.
  
  Can we get a video capture of the demo so one can compare how it should look?

• Well... The demo's unwatchable thanks to the framerate dropping to single digits on powerful systems.
  
  Perhaps it's having issues with 64-bit processors? I don't have a 32-bit machine handy to check, but it could be the reason.

  Seriously, that 3D Pixelation effect... just simply rulez!
  
  Also no, you can't run it perfectly on PCSX2, I tried.
