- I did the first version in 2004 as an optimization exercise of Confetti, but I've long forgotten what the original was. Found it at last, so greetz and thumb up :)

- Thanks! I just wanted to try how many different fx are possible with one algorithm. :)
@lord Kelvin: I don't think that works -- port 0x61 has the PPI in lower 6 bits and I'm getting 30h from it on XP (it does work for me in DOS and Win98 though). (source: Wout Mertens' Guide and some PC speaker FAQs) - isokadded on the 2007-01-31 11:41:33
- 32b MS-Dos Dírojed by Řrřola [web]
- I didn't want to change this zip, so I've bundled the final vesion of Dírojed with Kristal (direct link).
It's a little uglier, but it reacts to the keyboard - tap/hold non-buffered keys (like Ctrl). - isokadded on the 2007-01-31 03:04:33
- 64b MS-Dos Sierpilbrot by Řrřola [web]

- 64b MS-Dos Sierpilbrot by Řrřola [web]
- @nitro2k01: it is the good old mandelbrot (at least the version):
re=1.25+time
im=0 / 34 / im0
max 34 iterations (for blue)
{new_re = re^2 - im^2 + re0
new_im = 2*re*im + im0
}
bailout condition (sierpinski): im*im has some high bits set (depending on re0)
and that's it ;) - isokadded on the 2007-01-29 16:20:10
- 32b MS-Dos Kristal by Řrřola [web]
- just found something interesting: start the ! version, wait a while and press L

- 32b MS-Dos 32b fire effect .v2 by Ribbon [web]
- I've just realized I didn't write the whole idea, sorry... this should be identical to your version:
...dec bx
main: inc bl
xor [bx],al... - isokadded on the 2007-01-28 18:34:20
- 32b MS-Dos 32b fire effect .v2 by Ribbon [web]
- I thought bx cycles between ff00 and ffff... and you just fill the whole 256 bytes with randomness? Sorry if I misunderstood :)

- I like the effect and the idea, but boo for "dec bh"
