- During Breakpoint I would occasionally peep over the shoulder of Zoom as he tweaked the visuals for this intro. Each individual scene looked really great, especially with the "glowing stuff."
But seeing it on the big screen was the first time I saw everything in succession. To be perfectly honest, I was slightly disappointed due to the lack of connection between scenes. (And I did imagine there was going to be some sort of common thread...)
Oh well, the individuals parts are all still very nice. - rulezadded on the 2005-04-16 05:22:27

- Yes, it looks like a rough draft in several places, but this still rules. The freeze-frame physics, the buildings that aren't perfectly prismic, the fading out rectangular screen segments, etc.. Can't wait for a final.

- I haven't commented yet? Shame on me.
Truth be told, I keep this little comedic gem on my hard drive, just in case of rainy days...

- The b/w zoomer was nicely hypnotic, and the tentacles were nicely animated, although they weren't perhaps presented in the most awe-inspring fashion. Unfortunately I find the entire demos suffers from thought-out-but-generic design. (Huh? Well, I know what I mean, so there...)

- Hmm... Very simple in presentation, but not in an elegant sort of way -- a lack of design ideas is the more likely culprit. Although there's always something moving on screen, it just so plain-jane to watch. And yes, the music is hurting.
