- I have to agree there - this is a c64 musicdisk like we used to have back in the day when you'd compress 1541 Rob Hubbard tunes into a single executable. No Hubbard, but that's ok, these tunes are high quality.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Hardwired by Crionics & The Silents [web]
- total and complete utter rulage.
The number of new effects from this demo that dominated the demos of coming years is a testament to it's utter 0wnage.
There have been better soundtracks to demos since, but few demos have had as much influence. I still have to say this is the greatest demo of all time.
(The day I saw this demo, I also saw the Lawnmower Man movie, which had some computer gfx. I haven't really watched movies since, as they still can't compare to a good demo.) - rulezadded on the 2001-12-19 02:59:24

- 64k Windows synonym by Skullpture [web]
- Good cartoon rendering - one section slows down a tad too much for the effect (appears to be some form of attempt to overlay 100 or so partially transparent white planes to make a 'sunray' effect or something) but it only lasts for a few seconds. Overall, a really good demo.

- Music is buggy here, but you can hear it.
Truly a wonder - yes, the 'honestly we don't know either' works (: - rulezadded on the 2001-12-15 20:15:44

- demo Commodore 64 Speedway 3 by Panic
- Ok I just don't like the style of the speedway demos. The color choices and gfx do pretty much seem to be the bad choices a converter makes. Yes, there's some good stuff here. Heck, the endscroller looks great (: and the sinus scroller bit is also cool. However, they're near the end... overall, I'd not include this in the list of 'demos in the past 7 years on c64 that blow me away FAR MORE than most anything on PC"
C64 demos still rule, I just don't care for this one. Please try it yourself and see if you do (: - sucksadded on the 2001-12-15 18:53:10
