  Also being critical of Antifa is bad? We see now more openly that they are rioters who deliberately look for fights and trouble (The whole BLM/protests in USA is a shitshow), not peaceful protesters. I mean, come on, they come with masks and weapons, hiding their identities and ready to fight. It's harder for me to not think there is a problem here and not criticize them. Just because the name is Anti-Fascist it makes them good? And if you are critical at them you must be the Fascist by definition? Always the same lame argument..

  Also,. if there is so much talk even in the mainstream media from the left about "whiteness" and "check your white privilege" and the "white fragility", and I am like "Wow, wow, wow,. wait a minute!". Not because I have any strong white identity (I don't), but because I see the deviousness between the messages passed (and will actually mobilize the actual extreme white supremacists), but I'd be also called a nazi and that is a honepot to expose me? Really??? Because this is what happens in the internet. You have regular intellectuals (you know like Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Dave Rubin, etc) who are just opposing what they think is the cancel culture from the far left (whether you believe it exists or not) and they just have a conversation. But even these are called a nazi, and if you react to messages about "whiteness", ohhh you must be alt-right and that's why we post it to expose you!
  
  I need to make it clear. I have nothing to do with the extremes, I am not interested in race, I am not interested in any white superiority, I am not interested in nationalism and never was. I just stumbled upon some ideas (ohh and the evil Gamergate) and got interested in what was going on. I was very very apolitical compared to my peers before. And I just got an idea from this side of the bubble, I know. But a lot of the people who are just reacting to the mention of "white" in such contexts, are regular people. Now, certain people will think I was radicalized because I was interested in the different views (which I get it, it might be views that happen to also be more accepted by far right, because if the moderate left-center-right-whatever opposes the far left and cancel culture, why wouldn't the far right do so?). Some of us who just got into this rabbit hole but want nothing to do with the far right, are put in the same spot as the far right.
  
  Are any of these sceners here who react on the use of the word "white" secret racists? I mean actual racists doing swastika's and joining really dangerous groups? Not regular people who happen to like watching youtube commentators that are critical of some aspects of the left? I doubt it.
  
  p.s. Sometimes I don't if I should respond. I am kinda not liking I have to bother this community with these things. But identity politics and cultural wars are real and extend the demoscene. They will unfortunately plague every community. I am doing this with half heart, and maybe with the fear that I'll perceived like a bad person.

  Just to correct, I wasn't saying that I am excusing the title because it's autoeroticism. I was just pointing out two examples of how the "joke" works,. how it's similar to Sargon's method. Say something containing the word "rape" but frame it in such a way that you can make a case that you are not proposing something bad.

It started from the title, escalated into something else, then I was ranting about something completely different that maybe I shouldn't in Pouet (knowing that several people here are more woke leaning or at least sympathetic, and only perceive any other idea from the other side as dogwhistles from the same alt right bubble)

  But both sides have people who may be disrespectful. I can't easily place one side owning respect and the other vilified as being disrespectful. Not talking about things like the title of the demo (one could easily argue it mainly falls into disrespect, we get it, it's gross) but saying that all people reacting to feminism must be on the bad side.

• Yes, I do remember that Yiannopoulos did insult gamers, and I don't care much about him. He looked more like an opportunist or a joker at the time.
  I don't buy it though that all the people reacting to feminism must be haters and opportunists and so on. That's just one side of the narrative.

• I never said it's fun. I don't even care about making such a joke, it's not my thing. Maybe I only like the non-PC nature of it and what different reaction it brings today, but it wouldn't be my style to make a demo with a similar title (in the same way I am reluctant to put political messages in demos, rather stick to the abstract or technical nature of them).
  
  I dislike though this new narrative that in the 90s we were nerds without social life and there was something toxic about the communities and now people have to clean it up and blah blah. It's the stereotypical virgin neckbeard thing that feminists are throwing there (mostly for ideological reasons or for control imho) because it's the easiest thing to shame people that my be perceived as ugly nerds or socially awkward in general. It's easy to shame such people, because naturally we are not attracted to them. Maybe I am just more sympathetic to the underdogs for that reason among other things.

  You know how it works. The title is "If I was girl, I would rape myself". "But what's bad about that guys? It's autoeroticism, I never said I would rape anyone else, just myself if I was a girl, my body my choice"
  
  Sargon was saying "I wouldn't even rape you". It's the same idea. Say "rape" because it's the big boogeyman of today and it's gonna trigger everyone. Meanwhile frame it in a way like "But what's bad about what I said? I said I wouldn't do that for you, I am good person, I am not going to do that to you!"
  
  It's just edgy and controversial. Oh,. and it happens to men too, but joking about jail rape like "don't drop the soap" gets a pass. Oh well..
