• The Atari ST was / is far inferior to its direct rival the Commodore Amiga 500. And this is the real truth that hurts :-)
  
  But marketing the Atari ST against the pricy Commodore Amiga 4000 is a smart idea, you definitely marketing talents, guys ;-)

  I guess you are aware of the fact that is possible to use C for direct programming of the hardware (to get rid of the slowdowns at runtime due to slowish API calls of AmigaOS).
