- Damn! ;-)
Haven't seen it as well...as it's not working here!
Was counting on the final then...

Hmm...will I ever see that #2 demo from evok!? ;-D
The story continues....

- Damn coooooool prod!!
I loved it from ther first day of its release back in the great days!!!
Yeah! I also would _vote_ for a WIN32 PORT of this one!
This is even more a _general_ request for also MANY other cool demos from the good old past!
Maybe sceners will get up soon and start releasing win32 ports of their good old demos to preserve their great work also for the future of the scene!!
This would REALLY be a great thing to keep the past alive and further kickin' as one day there won't be a working system around anymore which whill still be able to run DOS based prods (be it cause of old-hardware issues or OS based problems... :-/ )
Please NEVER let this happen to the scene...
Thanks...
Bye,
Weasel

- Mempheria:
Just look up here for like 9 posts and you'll find another post from me with updated and 100% working links for a quick download! ;-)
(Just one little typo in the link for the 'trailer'...but if you gonna download the whole thing anyways you won't need the trailer of course! ;-) )
Hope this helps...and looking forward to a final rating-comment from you after you watched it then! ;-)) Thanks in advance...

- Thanks for those words and the 'requests' for a 2002 version! ;-)
Well, as there won't be any THE BUS this year to release such a thing for I'll see what reason to find to produce a sequal for it anyways... ;-D
Cross your fingers and let's see what C.A.P. TV will be able to work out for the scene again! ;-)
Thanks for all your positive words and trust so far...
This is really motivating for the future...

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows State Of Mind by Bomb
- Well, fact is that the current v1.2 win32 version of this prod won't work without heavy glitches on winXP (guess..it will be the same on w2k as well!! haven't tested yet!)
So is there anything planned to release a fixed v1.3 .exe for this _cooooool_ historical demo!?
Would make lotsa sense I'd say! ;-)
Bye,
Weasel
...why it's so popular? Well, of course there's ripped music in it! But I'd say it's similiar to the popularity of the VIP2 invitation demo...
The whole design of the demo is simply very well done and simply _fits_ !!! If you watch it it simply moves you and will leave something behind you won't forget at once again! Simply a very well designed and done demo after all!
(Although I'm also no fan of 'ripped' music in scene prods! But sometimes even this shows that it can work out! ;-) )

- demo MS-Dos shad by Cocoon [web] & Syndrome [web]
- robotriot: I might know what you mean... (if you tried to start shad in any win9x environment or sometimes even with DOS... ;-)
Solution for this 'crashes' is to start shad again and skip all parts shortly after music starts with 'esc' !! This way you can skip all parts already seen and then watch the last part (after the alien scene...dead guy sitting down etc...) finally! ;-)
The last part is really WORTH watching it as well of course! GREAT music and a great FINAL end for the whole demo!
Try to watch it completely...you won't regret ANY second of it! I promise !! ;-)

- Damn! I never came by to rate this one YET !???! Oh my god!!! What a mess!
This is for sure one of the BEST demos from the 'good old days'...which still has its bits to compete even with nowadays prods as well and would beat various of them for SURE !!!
YES! YES! YES!! A win32 port is a MUST finally!! I don't wanna lose this piece of ART just cause there aren't any dos-machines around anymore (although I will still keep mine forever just for THIS demo I guess! ;-) )
But a win32 port would be MEGA-GREAT!!!
Come on...let everyone of us write an email to Guille to request a port finally! I once talked to him a while back and he said he would think about that...and he will do when he got some time! But this is a while back already...so time has to come now I think....don't you think as well!? ;-)))
Anyways....MEGA-THUMBS UP for this one DEFINITELY!!!!

- demo MS-Dos Toasted by Cubic Team & $eeN [web]
- Damn cool demo from the older days...!!
I really love that one...!!
Man, there should be some 'movement' in the scene to open a 'group' who releases win32-ports of famous good old dos-demos !!!
Otherwise those gems will be lost forever some day when no one will have a chance to install DOS on a nowadys computer anymore... :-((
Get it going, guys!! WE NEED WIN32-PORTS OF THE BEST DEMOS FROM THE PAST !!!
Keep the scene spirit alive, pals!!

- 4k Windows gracchus by kolor [web] & Freestyle [web]
- Really one of the best 4k's I've seen so far!! Great work...nice design.
The 4k version doesn't work here though (winXP) but the 12k does it nicely...
Will there be a 'final' 4k version then maybe? ;-)
just for the record... :-)
can't wait to see who will be next in reaching another even higher level in the 4k challenge...and _when_ this might happen...well, hard to beat at this moment I'd say! :-)

- demo Windows Kassiopeia by Salva Mea [web]
- Well, it crashes here as well! :-(((
It's showing an error-message shortly after starting it...
The sound starts playing though but if you click 'ok' in the error-window it exits at once.
So where is a _fixed_ version of it pleeeease!! :-/
