- Not sure if "This is what people think Berghain parties look like" or "This is what Berghain parties look like" but I'd go :D

- OMG that tune. Plus, finally a demo again. With, like, effects that you can look at, and they're not gone again in 0.2s, and the screen design and postproc layers don't distract but add to the whole. I'll be coming back to this a lot :)

- All of what Urs said.
But then.
First, let me state here that if we're really at a point where people complain they can see that 4k intros are done with math, we're doing pretty good I'd say. :D
But the biggest point is that again this intro is way more than the sum of its parts. It's one thing to hack up a few spheres and planes with noise on them and some water effect and then add some soundtrack, but Noby again shows that he knows perfectly what technique to use to what effect, and he cares about all the little details that make the difference between "yeah it's a shader alright" and awesomeness, as seen as in the direction and that positively breathtaking instrument design.
IMO the recent Prismbeing 4Ks really encompass what intro making is about. Don't listen to drunk ironic me at the party. Don't stop. :) - rulezadded on the 2017-10-03 21:08:27

- Watched it from the middle of the hall and couldn't understand a single word, so nothing made sense.
Now I watched it again with good headphones, understood every word, and... it still doesn't. - rulezadded on the 2017-08-24 13:48:30

- Hm, as nobody else seems to have realized, let me just leave the word "Halloween" here. :)
Apart from that minor nuisance this is pretty much almost perfect. I can just concur with all the praise the instrument design and especially the geometry got so far - seriously impressive. The only thing that keeps it from my personal "4k of the year" category is that I find the colours a bit too monotonous. But that comes with the setting. :) - rulezadded on the 2017-08-21 19:38:03

- Hmmm... meh. It's a nice concept but I just can't get over that combination of "aliases like hell" and the far too low res ground map.

- No, some people just have different tastes, and I seriously find it somewhat appalling how the fan crowd in here is suggesting that if you don't like it, it somehow must be because of you, or even your lack of cultural understanding. It's also interesting how it's always the same kind of aesthetics these discussions erupt around, and it's always kinda the same people epitomizing them and belittling others, but hey, it's clearly everyone else's fault!
That out of the way - Insanely good design as always, and effect wise there's actually a lot to see if you watch closely, and - this is my main concern - look past all the design work. Just Fucking Subjectively I feel that the visual effects and everything around it don't really work as a whole but are often at odds with each other. Perhaps that is what Punqtured meant when he said something is missing.
As for the soundtrack - clearly a matter of taste. If you like Jungle, it's probably fantastic, if you don't mind Jungle too much, it's pretty generic Amen Break+Square Wave DnB to a point that people call it "dubstep". :D Can't argue with the production values tho. Also, that horn. ;)
In the end, the thumb clearly goes up tho. - rulezadded on the 2017-08-10 17:01:50

- Two small nitpicks:
- please check for resolution changes for us ppl watching the online version and pressing F11 _after_ it starts (FF 54) :)
- The chords are ever so slightly too random. There's a difference between careful deliberation and "to throw in the weirdest progression I could think of" and some more of the former would have been good.
Apart from that - I love the simple concept, the 9/8 beat, the sync and how ti really fits as a package. - rulezadded on the 2017-08-09 11:10:59
