• I've played with it and it was as simple as switching the XOR pattern drawing with palette setting. I apologize to everyone who downloaded the previous version.
  
  Now there's keyboard control, too ;-). To get the growing effect, press F8 (for example).

• Thanks, I've tried different speeds and it worked, but there's no way I can fit that in 32 bytes with ESC support. :-) This one is 3x slower than your version.

• Nice and clean. The palette fits perfectly. Kudos on add bx,cx in the beginning, cool stack usage, exploiting shorter ax instructions and cutting fxchs down to one. ;-)

• There's been a mistake in the .asm comments -- it's corrected now. The .com file is unchanged.

  doc^21o6: :( I've had some bytes to spare, so I've tried to make it as compatible as possible. Maybe the segments get messed up? DX=CS needs to be at most 6A00h at startup.
