- Some guy wrote this words in a similar discussion: There are thousands (many more)of musicians worldwide writing music. A great number of new songs every day. So there is quite a chance that some melodies ,chords ,or whatsoever can sound similar ,especially in pieces of the same genre.
Of course somewhere in some time in some case this may have been done on purpose.
But I am convinced that a musician with Defactor's qualities doesn't need to do that.
I admit the parts do sound quite similar. But I believe this to be a random case.
Or maybe Defactor liked that part that much that he implemented it and forgot to give credits ,but I don`t think.
That question can only be answered by Defactor himself properly. - isokadded on the 2006-04-26 17:13:49

- Simply great!
Very nice and characteristic compositions ,continuing and evolving the style and sound from its predesessor Awakening Part1.
The woodwind and flute melodies leave a formative impression and are highly recognizeable!
Where are the sounds from?
Sample libraries or even recorded live?
(I mean only the sounds ,the melodies are of course composed by Defactor!)
My favourites are the epic battle tunes. Liked that Mystic Forest tune very much ,too.
The grafix are even better than in part 1.
My favourite out of the new pictures is that NOrthern Elite Guard (Yeah dude ,kick some ass!). :)

- This prod is diffrent. And that makes it very interesting and enjoyable to watch.
The music is quite strange but it fits to the whole setting.
Definitely away from any kind of mainstream but/and definitely worth the thump! - rulezadded on the 2006-03-28 23:04:18

Was it really disqualified for using werkkzeug?
Well ,then where is the rule that this is forbidden for non Farbrauschers. I mean forbidden to compete in a compo.
Actually it might make sense that people are not allowed to flood demo compos using a "licensened" tool. But then it has to be clearly said in the rules for the demo compos.
(Or is it the rule of "using previously released material" ,like werkkzeug or the Jeroen Tel tune?)
But who cares ,maybe there is any BCN-orga here to tell why it was disqualified.
(Maybe 'cause of the deadline as already mentioned).
Nevertheless I think they should have tried to make their own ghostly song. Shouldn't have been a problem. - isokadded on the 2006-01-31 00:53:19

- I think the 4 colour mode was called CGA and EGA had 16 colours. But I don't really know.
And I don't know if Nytrik chose the "CGA"-colours on purpose either! =) - isokadded on the 2006-01-23 21:59:56
