• "Marketing ploy" was probably poor wording on my part (giving these guys way too much credit), but this is a music video for a commercial artist, promoting a commercially released single, thinly disguised as something else. At least that's what I gather from a bit of research.

  (also, opening+credits should be way shorter. spending 50% of the duration of your video telling me you made it, while only having ~80 seconds of actual footage seems a bit excessive.)
