- finally a ds demo which makes innovative use of both screens. no spectacular effects, the things like the voxel landscape look very early 90s, but the effort counts. the tags by genchy rock, so does the tune. deserved to be in top 3 instead of the mishap karaoke thing. also the effort of liranuna to come all the way from israel to present this one at evoke is worth a "wow". hope to see you here next year as well.

- musicdisk Atari ST warptYMe by YM Rockerz [web]
- great one, for presentation as well as for the tunes. i LOVE it when people make aesthetically modern sounds on antique soundchips.
as an evoke organizer i'm really touched that you guys chose our party to release what is probably one of the coolest atari musicdisks ever. i hope you had fun, and hope to see even more atari people and productions at evoke 2007. - rulezadded on the 2006-08-14 17:52:18
- demo Linux Windows GamePark GP2X iOS nano by Kakiarts [web]
- great. not only for pioneering a platform, but also for the design and effects and everything. this is the best looking product by kakiarts up to now. thank you girls and guys for releasing this at evoke - this is the party highlight number one!

- demo Windows MacOSX Intel Mac My Bitch Up by bypass [web]
- probably nothing insane code-wise, but still the best looking mac prod up to now. and the soundtrack by looza is absolutely ace!
(on a sidenote: despite the credits, i don't have anything to do with this production. i have done another soundtrack for this, but it didn't really fit, so looza did a new one. warp let us both in the credits. but the music is by looza only.
so i can thumb it up.) - rulezadded on the 2006-08-14 17:39:13

- demo Linux Windows Die Ewigkeit Schmerzt by Neuro
- i kinda agree with bhead here, there could be done a LOT more with typographic elements. and also, those small "growing" ornaments in the letters could have been used more excessively.
but it's still a nice and unusual prod. - rulezadded on the 2006-08-14 17:32:24
- demo Playstation Portable Lick It by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web] & Titan [web]
- in fact i'm not sure if the vocals are really samples from the original. virgill is known to always have female vocalists at hand.
but yeah, this is a very obvious remake of a commercial tune and should have been disqualified in my opinion. i guess we organizers were too tired to notice.
still the thumb goes upwards for the graphics and design. - rulezadded on the 2006-08-14 16:46:39
- demo Windows Track One by Fairlight [web]
- a video would be nice for all the crapmachine owners. but what i remember from the composcreening, the demo was EXTREMELY nice.
