- demo MS-Dos The Secret Life of Mr. Black by orange
- really great stuff and one of the first PC demos i liked! havn't seen it for a couple of years... so checking this page means i will check it again this evening. as far as i remember - i loved it!

- demo ZX Spectrum Higher State by 3SC [web]
- nice demo despite some converted gfx which doesnt look as good. 3SC always did quite original demos and so this one is. music is also something a bit out of ordinary, something very special. top quality slovak production!

- demo ZX Spectrum SHIT 4 BRAINZ by Progress [web]
- yeah this is great. there are some moments in demo i dont like but all in all its gerat stuff. it came first at now legendary Enlight'97 party in Russia where i was lucky enough to be present =]
music is quite good even if one in Paroxyzm beats it i think, though this is large demo with many changes in music and many brilliant effects. and the intro is quite impressive too and even the final animation (digitized video) is great - very smooth.
looking at credits Canonball mentioned i have to add that demo was coded by Fux with a slight help of Ksa and Kolver and maybe Rom too - though Rom did graphics mostly and Mic was author of soundtrack. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:50:12
- demo ZX Spectrum Ecstasy by Rush & Dream Makers Software
- this is one of the very best speccy megademos. absolutely must of an oldskool lovers! made by Rush shortly after it was founded by members of Dream Makers. they later turned on producing trackmos, and this is their last megademo which was in making for few years.
it's very large and features nice parts, both code wise, design wise not to mention awesome music - and there are over 20 parts as far as i recall, so that means A LOT of music by famous speccy composers Imp and Evolver. one of my all time favorites on speccy. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:46:20
- demo ZX Spectrum BrainCrash by Progress [web]
- heh cant resist on commenting Canonball's comment... music is oldskool? you must be crazy, it is a fast "techno" track, which is definitely not oldskool, at least not on speccy.
now about demo. it was first demo under Progress label and the worst one too. it consists mainly of senseless boasting and some ugly (and some good too ;) effects. the text in demo is mostly what pisses off watcher... especially when the other stuff isn't as impressive. the screenshot really shows the best part of the demo - the excellent setup screen. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:40:58
- demo ZX Spectrum Influence by Seamans
- at first, this demo is not by Progress but Seamans - group where two members of Progress were before.
now, about demo. it runs normally only on pentagon, shame. but it was first demo from Seamans which were known cracking group before (after this demo they formed Progress together with some other guys as their demogroup). nothing really impressive but still much better than average crap. can't remember music though.. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:37:47
- demo ZX Spectrum Paroxyzm by Progress [web]
- this is short, but great stuff. perhaps the second best demo from progress with first one being Shit 4 Brains but who knows... sometimes i think this is the best one, it is just short and effective!
what is ABSOLUTELY brilliant is music by Mic, it's so fucking great!
highly recommended. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:34:02
- intro Windows MS-Dos/gus Peyote by Proxium [web]
- seen this one just at party, i dont have such a beast machine to run it.
well, it was quite great 3D stuff for 64K, boring enough as well, but the objects were interesting.
just shame on them abusing name "peyote"... heh, psychedelic? nah, no way! - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:30:18
- demo Gameboy Color Nightmode by Dual Crew Shining [web]
- true, true. this is the best gameboy color demo for sure!
coded by sasq, graphics by vodka and music by laxity.
quite oldskool, featuring many nice effects, great music and graphics. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:17:47
- demo Gameboy Color Bitte 8 Bit by Hitmen [web]
- this is really nice gameboy color demo, perhaps the second best on it after DCS's nightmode ;)
cool rasterbars and stuff... groepaz did a nice job on this!
additional info: this was presented at mekka symposium party'2000. - isokadded on the 2001-05-11 18:10:26
