- 4k Linux Windows nikak by Ye Olde Laptops Posse [web] & s.k.o.y.p [web]
- This is excellent! Technically really solid for a 4k, content is nice enough and the audio is superb. Great to hear people using 4klang to its proper potential! Instruments, mixing, composition/structure, it all works. The visual content is a bit thin though; could've been made more interesting with a couple more camera angles and some more local lighting (at the moment looks a bit too much that there just a constant ambient light). Would've loved to have seen the focus shift to the black bar/pip/whatever too! Also the lens aberration and bokeh are way overdone for their own good, but at least they looks relatively nice :). The aliasing is a shame though.
Really surprised me that this didn't place higher. Was sure it would've been in the top three. - rulezadded on the 2017-08-22 18:56:05

- Wonderful beginning but pretty much none of the humor actually landed. Towards the end this just became increasingly awkward.

- 4k Windows Absolute Territory by Prismbeings
- Rork, Volantis (others?): http://noby.untergrund.net/noby-absolute_territory.flac (44.1 kHz 16-bit flac, recorded through loopback from the exe, the abrupt ending very slightly faded out)
4klang "sources": http://noby.untergrund.net/4klang-zettai.zip (4klang 3.11, Renoise 2.8.1, provided as is, ugly and messy just like it was made) - isokadded on the 2017-08-21 22:07:18

- Fantastic of course, clear winner of the compo :). The way you succeed in size limited categories, especially 4k, is by designing the tech and content together around the limitations. Compromises are the thing that generally most stand out to people negatively, and this is a prime example on how to hide and minimize them. Again, there are things that maybe could be better, but honestly nothing here strictly needs to be, it's all in an optimal balance.
And it's not just "impressive for the size" or whatever, but genuinely interesting regardless of any limitations. There's some exceptional camerawork here, especially with the zooming which is notoriously difficult to pull off in the first place. The way you disorient the viewer and frame those ominous faces is just perfect. I don't think I even wanna say anything about the music; Virgill is a king. The final version of your Revision entry was maybe still slightly more to my liking, but this easily in the same league.. just scary.
Now I just want to see some other distance function next :) - rulezadded on the 2017-08-21 20:12:13
- wild Animation/Video 个乃ち七允ムく七 (Abstract) feat. Alkama by TOCHKA
- Kind of a rehash of the Outline thing (reuses even some of the same footage?), but still works for me. Largely though due to the fucking amazing track by alkama (would've wanted to use this in a demo too :D). The last 30 secs, especially the final shot is the best though.
Next time something different :) - rulezadded on the 2017-08-21 14:52:01
- 4k Windows Cubicle by Rift
- Shading looks nice at times, awful at other. The rose was probably the ugliest thing overall though. Music is just poor. Not bad, good start, but lots to improve :)
Waiting for Rift by Cubicle now! - isokadded on the 2017-08-21 14:47:00

I can actually compose with notes and stuff too!! Also Oidos is wonderful, especially for stuff that isn't heavily reliant for gritty electronic texture :) - isokadded on the 2017-08-20 23:54:13
