- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS Done by Abyss [web]
- Colorful and crisp, with happy music :) All the parts are shown so quickly, I wish I could stay longer and enjoy some of them e.g. the "hyper jump".

- 8k game Commodore 64 Bouldercraft by Pers' Wastaiset Produktiot [web]
- Seems a nice little sandbox that could go much further with some more survival meters (and some crafting?) :)

- demo Amiga AGA Catabasis by Cocoon [web]
- Solid prod for stock AGA, inconvex not proven, usual mumble about converted dithered pics especially when not necessary.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Wonderful - ECES party demo by Voice [web]
- Some glitches, but competitive objects for the time, with Tune <3 by Gurra & Alf (Papa Smurf). Apparently we watched B-movies on VHS, used floppys and disks, and drank milk and coke while playing cards on a ferry. Not far off :D

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Powerslaves party demo by vision factory
- Obviously it's all of the sines on screen at once :D and the tune is so-so, but this should beat some other demos from the same time.

- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS Three Men and a Glenz Vector by Limbo [web]
- Style and effects of the time (no glenz tho), cute design and tune (not a fan - well a little), all in 40K, and I liked the overall design and v-stretch writer. :)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Shaggy by DuskWave
- @domel Prod txt explains base requirements, and that you tested on AGA/040. But you provided a recording from faster emu, and AGA/040 is not ECS. Even if you must report 'oldskool' from orga weakness, and can report ECS because Pouet weakness, and Pouet audience is weak from not running demos anymore, so you should have provided a recording from a real ECS Amiga with specs.
Sceners don't run demos these days, but you shouldn't count on that. - isokadded on the 2022-09-04 02:11:24
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Chlorella by DuskWave
- When is next Xenium and how do I fuck everyone up with some of my old effects lying around :)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS e255 by Bomb & Sanity & Dreamdealers [web]
- Quote:
Photon : Blobs are possible on plain A500 OCS, Saviour did it in Delirium by Complex in 92. Scalar field is rendered by using 5bits blitter additions.
All these effects are possible on OCS 512/512 if they are realtime and much slower - not replayed - and this is the reason for replies from not only me but other experienced Amiga OCS coders why the prod requires more than OCS 512/512. You are not an experienced Amiga coder, and this demo is bullshit like Spaceballs and The Black Lotus. Some coders just don't care to make effects for the platforms they love I guess. Effects is the only thing that separates demos from hey, let's render to video and go Wild.
Of course nobody has to agree with me, and nobody has to make new effects for Amiga, and nobody has to love demos with effects. In fact, nobody has to love demos. So don't blur the lines between Demo and Wild, easy. And the way we do that (ham-handedly, in the days of exponential cross-platform compression) is by "some kinda limits".
So let's see this demo then on OCS 512/512, otherwise it is precisely as stated, bullshit. (And now that I have informed of fantastical other-platform compression ratios, it still might be. Experienced coders are needed to tell you what is real.)
Love is real. And I love real effects. - isokadded on the 2022-08-30 00:51:47
