- Amazing. Very organic and stylish. Easy 4k winner.

- 4k Linux Mount Torii by Luminaire
- Pleasant to watch and listen to. Greets part at the end was a nice touch.

- 4k Windows mansikkajäätelön iltalento
- This is a very nice self shadowed curl noise particle effect. Very fluid looking movement, great job with that. I'm just not sure that it is almost 3 minutes worth of content with the same scene, I kept waiting for something to happen. Perhaps some interaction with simple primitives would have been cool. Still a thumb up because it's a very pleasant effect.

- 4k Windows Voro Nope by xzm
- This was ok. I enjoyed the shapes and colours. Honest criticism: I don't like the hard scene switching on every beat and the sync seems to go out of time with music towards the end. Few other little technical/stylistic things I don't like but I don't want to be too nitpicky. Overall it's not a bad little 4k.

- Visy: I see now. I thought it might have been a first year university student project or something. I just thought possibly this was a case of ignorance rather than deliberately bad intentions.
I have no idea why someone would think they can release a demo with ripped content to an audience full of people with over 20 years in the demoscene and think nobody would notice.
Also what was with the claims about vulkan and assembler code. It is plainly written in C/C++ and using openGL. Baffling. - isokadded on the 2016-08-07 16:48:38

- I sort of wish there was an .nfo or something from the demo creators so I knew for certain what their intentions are. They could be trolls, they could be lamers trying to pass off other peoples work as their own, or they could just be some young programming students who don't understand etiquette.
I will say this, making your first demo is hard particularly if you are a coder and have no music or art/design skills. But I have much more respect for someone who puts in effort and does the best they can even if the result is sub-par rather than take someone elses work and present it as your own.
Shadertoy is a great learning resource, lots of neat functions on there like IQ's noise functions and such. Also stuff like Mercury's raymarching toolbox thing they released. I think it is fair to say at some point most people have learned from or been inspired by the works of others, but the important thing is to use that knowledge and inspiration to create something original. - isokadded on the 2016-08-07 16:41:20
- 1k Windows Escape through subspace 1K by Fulcrum [web]
- Deserved to win. Nice write up in the nfo, I love to read "making of" type stories. Spaceship colours could be better but overall a nice looking prod and it has some direction, all in 1k.

- p01 magic and style as always. Not really feeling the "music" this time but the particles sure are nice.

- 1k MacOSX Intel Affinity by The Digital Artists [web]
- People complain about being tired of fractals but I still love them when they are used in an interesting way. This is a nice 1k for sure.
