- Oh boy, that was excellent!
Love the overall feel and the music. Some really, really lovely ideas in this and it's especially heartening to know that both the diver and the astronaut had their Ready Brek. - rulezadded on the 2013-09-16 15:04:42

- Really rather great :)

- demo Windows Surge by Eventide
- Should be fine on ATI , Smash. I was testing on an ATI laptop quite regularly. I'll give this version one more test just to double check.
superplek, I hear ya. As Punqtured said, this was primarily driven by my desire to release something at Sundown, rather than already having something ready to release. It looks quite rushed and unfinished - because it is ;) - isokadded on the 2013-09-16 13:39:45
- demo Windows Apocalypse When by Fairlight [web]
- Pretty unique and fun to watch. I share most of the gripes aired above, but I don't think any of them are too serious. I'm still not sure if the dust is supposed to be coming from the car or chasing it? It appears to be offset to the right of the car at the beginning, which confused me a little.
Great effect as always, definitely worthy of a big old thumb! I liked the music too, it conveyed just the right amount of menace for me. - rulezadded on the 2013-09-16 13:37:27

- demo Windows The Tabernacle by Brainstorm [web]
- Quite a trip! Certainly something I'd watch again, which is more then enough reason for a thumb-up. The music worked great with the visuals IMO, and really enhanced the experience.

- demo Windows primitive beings by Dead Roman
- Enjoyable. Some very nice visuals and the tune fitted nicely. Really liked some of the PP effects too (and the particles).

- Absolutely gorgeous visuals, the music really rattles my brain though.

- Nice to see another cool Torment release :) Liked the tune too.

- I've made a version with the noise removed as I thought it might be more suitable if someone decides to make a youtube capture:
No noise version - project file
The RAR contains a single file, "main.intruderproject", which should be dropped into the "projects/sundown2013" dir.
@Canopy, I was in the exact same boat last year. It's a bit daunting before-hand, but once you arrive I'm sure you'll find yourself saying "I wish I'd starting going to demo parties years ago". Everyone is really friendly and it's a great change to put faces to the names of the people you chat to on IRC. I think the next Sundown may be in June. Would be awesome to see you there :)
@front243, that's a little odd. It's just an MP3 played back using Bass. I've tested it on a few machines and sound seems to work fine on all of them. Have you had similar issues with any other demos/intros? - isokadded on the 2013-09-13 10:52:06
