They are the same effects, just with a different look. The two scenes are, tree-spline-grow, which grew random and just looked like a ball of clutter in the party version, and explode-thing, which in the party version was an eyeball with eyes, but I think this worked better. - isokadded on the 2007-04-10 16:50:40

I wonder how you did the explode effects. seems like many drawcalls.
My theory at this moment is that each vertex has a seed which would be common for the box it belongs to, and this is used when exploding the mesh. so that all of the boxes is just one huge mesh. - rulezadded on the 2007-04-09 02:55:02
