• Isn't it obvious that the dude just works with ATMs and made a demo for one and to build suspension he walks into a bank with the same type of machines so it seems it is there?
  
  Of course it's not running on all ATM machines in Germany, but does that make it less legit?
  
  Also, an ATM *is* a pc! They usually even run Windows as somebody else already pointed out.
  
  I'm getting way to weirded out over these reactions, I'll leave it be for now..

  Sometimes it's not as much about the technical merit as it is about the esoteric platform. If you don't think a demo running on an ATM is cool at all, you kinda miss the point.
