jmph: Nah, that's simpler. It's instrument #123 from the MIDI table wikipedia on MIDI. I play different notes (based on the frame counter) to generate more texture and volume ;)
Derp, I forgot there was a "seashore" instrument in GM. Well played. :P - isokadded on the 2016-01-20 22:28:20

- Wow, nice one!
How did you do the sound in such a small space? Is it just white noise with a volume envelope or something trickier? - rulezadded on the 2016-01-20 21:23:20

- Didn't realize that, I figured it was its own thing. Fix request submitted.
I still think we should have a general/other 'interpreted language' category. Dozens of multiplatform experimental/art languages are floating around these days. Using 'wild' for everything doesn't make much sense. - isokadded on the 2016-01-18 22:34:42

- ^^ Yeah it more or less is, even though it competed in the democompo. I submitted a fix request.
Great tune! - rulezadded on the 2016-01-18 22:30:46

- Wow, I hadn't seen this? Nice one! Great powerful music for 1k.
I know of work modelling the formation of vesiculated basalt (porous rock formed from quickly-cooling lava) using fractal algorithms, so there's scientific basis here. ;) - rulezadded on the 2016-01-18 22:20:18

- @HellMood - I did the platforms. No idea what the right way to cite would have been beyond abusing a different tag that doesn't apply either. We need an "interpreted code" catagory.

- demo MS-Dos Optimal Torque by Dubius
- The bouncing cube bit is really good for '95. Great effort put into making the physics look right, and nice rendering w/ realtime shadows from multiple light sources.
The rest of the demo doesn't stand out too much but is entertaining enough for a thumb. - rulezadded on the 2016-01-15 12:11:32

- Damn, cool stuff. Is this the first oscilloscope demo that got a party release?
Acid soundtrack is delightfully bouncy & silly - great fun. - rulezadded on the 2016-01-11 05:39:15
