- I'm no Flash expert, but this didn't look like thumb down material to me, more like oink.

- Calimero, it's MP2 on the Falcon (DSP) and ADPCM (or so I recall) on the Amiga (CPU) so it saves up some time there, and the FastRam on the Falcon is quicker. There is no hicolour involved. I don't know how fast the Amiga processor was on the video recording.

- Loadie, the Falcon version definitly runs faster..
Here's a clip from both versions (the Amiga is from the DivX linked here):
MPEG-4 AVC movie clip comparison
Watching 25 FPS movies on a PC/Mac is bad to begin with frame-rate wise, so this is not exactly optimal, but if you frame-by-frame step it, you'll see that the Falcon updates more frequent. The mountain scene for example seem to move two times on the Falcon for each on the Amiga, most of the time.

- There were some talks about that the video is recorded from a 100MHz Falcon, which is wrong.
It's recorded on the "stock" CT60 which is 66 MHz and there is no chipram overclocking either. So a standard 66/16 MHz machine with 14/256MB memory. - isokadded on the 2008-05-13 07:41:10

- Yeah thanks for the Atari Falcon version! :-)
Here are some videos captured from the Falcon:

- Thumbs down for ruining BFP for some of the Atari crowd. I guess you will be back to only C= people this year around..

- I don't know why, but I kinda like it even though it's a long flight around random polygons in plain green colour.
Runs nice and very smooth on x86 despite the rosetta PPC emulation. - rulezadded on the 2008-05-11 09:03:01

- Thumbs for still doing 68k stuff :) The intro itself is a bit too short.
As for video, I made a dump from eUAE, which I guess will have to do until someone records something from a real miggy.

Youtube (their flv encoder didn't like this at all)
