• Trolling successfully takes some effort and timing. The timing was delivered by the orgas, but the actual payload was pretty damn weak sauce. Maybe the real joke is a self-deprecating one. Like, you acknowledge that you couldn't make a VF2, even if you wanted to.
  
  No thumb down, because I watched it twice and pointless scene drama is always funny.

• Very cheap, conceptually. Fake text mode, pong, "oldschool" etc. But it works very well for me. Good direction/pacing, swift music, some humor. Weak thumb, I guess. :)

• Could have easily been made into a 2003 style untz-untz VJ demo. Just alternate every 4th beat between slightly different versions (colors, parameters) of your effect, with different backgrounds each (you like space? ok, there's planets, nebulae, comets, stars...).
  
  If you present it like this, it looks like a screen saver. Oh, and triangles suck for this, please chose something more sophisticated. :)

  And yes, complex vegetation rendering in combination with simple sine wave movements with clipping issues give an odd impression. Also, the awkward placing of the wind mills. Please fix those problems in the final version. :)
