- Animation player demos are simply not my cup. And blinking stuff isn't "awesome and cool". I realize it was made in the spirit of an MTV video from the time, but it just isn't enjoyable to hear or watch.

- Well, vector animation started in 1991, a couple of groups used it.
Lonestarr did it then too in Wayfarer but it was sort of not the main effect of the demo, and they did a story around it.
This is more like Coma/Rebels when it comes to flashing unrelated animations together and having crappy music :P
I simply don't have a thing for animation player demos, something that has surfaced again last few years, but at the time this required more effort so I can't thumb it down. - isokadded on the 2014-09-21 02:19:31

- Agree with jrk on this one. This is comparable to a one-day partyprod today. At the time though, everyone had just started making sine generators and bob routines, and this isn't a shabby one. Still, there were both better and worse demos around at the time.

I'm sure Doctor No simply meant that the rasters being "real" rasters is because horizontal ones can be RGB and these are RGB, whereas Alcatrazbars are not RGB.
So this is HAM with copper stretching, similar to the Halfbrite+copper stretch I did for the RGB tunnel in Uncle Tom Sonix. So there might be some nice tricks to pull with this left to do :) - rulezadded on the 2014-09-20 18:15:50

- Quite good music, and animation is cool for ZX - but just an animation does not a demo make. Add two effects and you are golden.

Big tip: Putin, invasion of airspace... promise me vector airplanes, hammers, and sickles! It could even be the spiritual successor of black & white lies if you set saturation=0.0! Except it would be relevant to something so maybe not ;)
