- Hey Gargaj! Great production!
I liked the part where the droid comes in front of this bomb looking model which for sure I was thinking it was going to explode, but then something in the back fall over! I was shocked!
And especially I liked the sound during that scene, really nice melody and bass sound! wow!
And then I noticed you guys have greeted us back! And is (if iI'm not mistaken) the first one greeting us!
Thanks a lot!!
I hope to see you at Revision!! - rulezadded on the 2013-02-27 23:01:02

- Thx guys!
And thx for the advice enex! The idea is to make tools for things where getting tired of doing hardcoded all the time, so making it ourselves easier step by step.
In the end it would be cool if for example our musicians can also make some effects without having to go through all the pain :-) - isokadded on the 2012-04-20 16:39:25

- I later joined the group when it was already founded as a musician at first, creating many bad-ass hardcore tunes in Fast Tracker v2.09 / Modplug Tracker / other tools such as Jeskola Buzz and FLStudio and shared them with my cousin Mr-Z.
That time I was to young to attend a demo party.. unfortunately. But in 2005 I went to my first demo party: Breakpoint.
Back then Mr-Z also told me a lot about the history of the Amiga. I started to develop interests in computer systems other then the boring gray and often blue looking screens you could find in every household around '99 ..
Then I also started my computer science education in 2006 and graduated in 2010. Now I'm doing my best and trying to help out as much as possible as a coder. I have still a lot to learn ;-)
In our first demo I did a part of the intro and the credits/greetings scene (in which the text fly's by to fast :P).
For this demo I created the events system, I did most part of the intro, the waving tunnel, and the oldskool effects on the screens (not the screens itself).
In our fist demo we used hard-coded events, we didn't have shaders and we didn't have any models. Thanks to Pixelman we have a few very good models!
We now consist of 5 main members: two musicians, two coders and one modeler. But there is also a third coder with very little time.
For the next production I am going to focus more on tooling, we plan to create our own demomaker. This will be a lot of work!! So I expect our next demo to be a hybrid or something.. Some parts are made with our own minimal demo maker and other parts from scratch / by hand again. - isokadded on the 2012-04-10 21:53:01

- Last year I was already hoping and speculating when Linus would show up with his own demo platform on an FPGA.
Well this year he did!! Very very cool! I can not imagine how many hours of work you spend on developing your own building blocks like the CPU, Blitter (with pixel shader support) and the FM-synthesizer. Then putting it all together in your own digital circuit AND writing your own demo for it.
This is outstanding!!! Congratulation on your win!
What next? Expanding your own FPGA-based demo platform to include building blocks capable of synthesizing voices and such? Or something totally different?
Surprise us Linus! Keep it up! :-D

- Awesome production! Ümlaüt Design has always been an inspiration for me!
The very first production I have seen from you was: Structure 2: Sequence. This production is the one that triggered me, wanting to have good music synchronization in our demo's.
Thanks! - rulezadded on the 2012-04-10 16:32:29

- Hey Ramon, it was you outside!
The first tunnel you see is created by me, I am proud about it! Look how it moves in sync with the music, on the kick and snare! Yeah! - isokadded on the 2012-04-10 00:49:10
