- demo Amiga AGA YOU ARE COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS by Monkeyman & Xeron
- Hahaha, never seen this before! Hilarious parody of our Melba intro :-)

- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS Everyway
- Are you guys kidding me?! Is this the same Rose version that we've been using? No new features? Like more colours? Wow. Really, really good scripting here; it's not easy to make something this good with Rose. I'm afraid most people are not even aware of the effort that has been put into it, only the ones familiar with Rose are able to appreciate it properly.
Some colour schemes are nice, while some don't work for me. I also liked the sync and the track - dig the bass sounds and funky chords, but I'm not quite sure if these vocal samples are necessary/add something to the tune.
Nitpicking? The size. I feel the only excuse for 64kb is the music, 4kb would be enough for the visuals alone. Being a musician myself I sympathize with Hoffman, but I'm just trying to say that I would like Everyway even better if it was smaller.
And yep, my favourite Rose intro so far too. - rulezadded on the 2016-10-28 10:51:26
- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS Falu red color by Razor 1911 [web]
- A show of a hand! I liked the music until the solo came in. Yes, they knew how to entertain people in 40k back then.

- demo Amiga AGA data delight by Nature [web]
- + tastefully crafted effects (I really like the blurred cubes or greetings part)
+ nice palettes and colour choices (extremely rare thing among the coders!)
+ good sounding and fitting music (after the first minute)
- too long and somewhat bland intro
- noisy bass sample (first I even thought it was 22kHz ADPCM wave file playing!) and overall a bit boring intro part of the track
Malmix' aproach to demo making reminds me a bit of Slummy and Shadez, those three have something in common IMO. To put in another way - a future Amiga demo star is born! :) The only thing that I think could be improved is the transitions. I just love when one effect is a "natural" or perhaps "logical" (I'm sure you know what I'm just trying to say) consequence of the another. But that's just minor nitpicking. - rulezadded on the 2016-09-09 20:40:01
- diskmag Amiga OCS/ECS Irregular Review #1 by Spaceballs [web]
- - not a single mention of polish scene
- 1991ish sounding music vs. modern looking visuals
+ great idea
+ well written texts
+ awesome looking menu
Now for some nitpicking from a delicate aesthetician. I know The Bastard loves to keep things simple and usually I totally love it, but this time I'm not quite sure… The thing looks more like a text viewer than a diskmagazine to me; I'd love to see some panels, cliparts or columns (done in a modern way).
Few months ago I was talking to someone about making an alltime top of Amiga demos. With a huge amount of people voting. We all know that Pouet charts are not too reliable since people vote mostly for new productions. Perhaps it would be a good idea to make it in Irregular Review? - rulezadded on the 2016-09-07 22:36:50
- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS b0k intro by Jumalauta [web]
- Quite nice twister show accompanied by sound of a broken washing machine.

- demo Commodore 64 fREUd [reu] by Hoaxers
- Now, this is what I'd call a good twister! I also enjoyed the scroller bars a lot.

- 64k Amiga AGA Red Eye by Sonik Clique [web]
- Looks like another take on Invitation None effects, but who cares when it's this good. These particle-based stuff is something that I'll never get bored of. And what Dodke said.

- demo Amiga AGA Invitation none by Sonik Clique [web]
- I still enjoy this demo a lot. The cloud-like effect, the choice of colours and tastefully understated music… Deserves more love. I miss stuff like this, especially in 2016, dominated by 1-screen compo fillers…
