• demo MS-Dos Wild New Horizons by Otomata Labs [web]
• Fantastic demo on a very deserving platform! Great art and music with really stylish effects that are both technically impressive and aesthetically interesting. One of my favorites of the last few years!

• 40k demo NES/Famicom Mapperless by Otomata Labs [web]
• natta: ah, I see. So you have 6 bits of palette that you're cycling through + 3 bits of emphasis, and filtering out redundant/invalid colors get you 420 colors total. Now it makes sense!

• 40k demo NES/Famicom Mapperless by Otomata Labs [web]
• Best Famicom demo I've seen, very nice work! Some of the best DPCM IRQ abuse around :-)

I'm quite curious about the 420 color screen, I understand what the code is doing but I'm not sure what I'm _supposed_ to be seeing. Composite artifact colors? Time-dithered blurring?

• 64k invitation Vectrex EigenVectrex by Carnegie Mellon Computer Club [web]
• @blackle glad to hear it :-)

I'd also like to mention that the music (specifically, the bassline) doesn't sound right in any emulator we've tried (VIDE gets it close but runs quite slowly), so emulator users should keep that in mind when attempting to view.

• Currently only known to run perfectly on real hardware. Completely borked in MAME, slow in VIDE with minor graphical issues, watchable with minor issues in pre-MAME MESS.

  Video capture coming soon.
