- also a couple of suggestions for the final version:
1. since you're obviously just changing the background affine transform for the display flip, why not allow it to be flipped at any time, to see how it looks one way or another without having to reboot
2. I also tried it on a NDS lite, and there is no correct orientation. Maybe some displays have a 90-degree subpixel layout. Since your tiny demo screen would fit the display sideways, why not also allow 90 degree rotations? - isokadded on the 2026-04-06 14:00:48

- Interesting idea, and it looks very smooth and anti-aliased at times... but I'm sorry, maybe I'm getting old and my vision is going, but I can barely see your demo in a tiny 2.5x1.5cm thumbnail in the already small GBA screen. This is not an enjoyable demo-watching experience.

- I understand the limitations of the 386, and that this runs in a ridiculously high resolution for the target machine. But I just don't consider scrolling images an interesting demoeffect. I've seen impressive and interesting 386 and 286 demos. This one is not one of them.
