• I'm very divided on this demo.
  
  On the one hand, there's the 3D and the effects towards the end, which are interesting and uncommon on CPC. There are lots of GFXs, well-composed music.
  But... It's long... And ultimately, it quickly becomes boring.
  
  Too many GFXs, music that's not lively enough, and above all: a serious lack of cohesion overall.
  3D objects are layered on GFXs with no connection between the scenes.
  
  I find it all the more unfortunate that the Starwing-style ship wasn't included from the beginning, for example, in a Desert Dream tribute (while we're sucking up to the Amiga), to then segue into the ship's escape in the voxel, then, for example, the mapped planet.
  There could have been much better work on the sequence and writing a script.
  
  So yes, this demo is nice. Sure, the code is good, but it's shaky, and I'm absolutely not a fan.
  
  Finally, its biggest flaw is that it claims to be a CPC+ demo. Using the CPC+ palette and moving three hard sprites is nothing like a CPC+ demo. For me, this is definitely the biggest weakness.
  
  In short, it needs a scriptwriter and a way to break away from the classic, outdated pattern of screens that follow one another.
