- I really dig the soundscapes, especially industrial drums and synth textures.

- Nice "Studio Ghibli" style art. Is it AI-generated?

- One more thing, that you guys might have missed here.
This is a philosophical inversion of my original 64k intro work I did in 2006. The 64k constraint was about maximum effort with minimum resources. This is in stark contrast to this: a minimum effort with maximum resources possible.
It's really to provoke questions about the meaning of art, the meaning of effort, the meaning of outcome. And this is the value I perhaps wasn't even hoping for. - isokadded on the 2026-03-18 23:13:33

- LJ: thanks for feedback. About low effort - in the context of this prod, it was deliberate, focused effort in short period of time to meet the deadline from the conception of the idea to the final product. I could have postponed the release until next party with "Wild with AI" compo (although I'm not sure there will be any looking at the reception ;), to regenerate some shots/scenes, polish some cuts etc.... but this would lose its momentum and significance for the discussions we had. I hope this clarifies why there is some sloppiness here and there.
If you follow some AI artist, or maybe you tried to generate AI videos on your own, you should know it's not that easy to make a flawless AI video at this point. But your observation is valid. If you have such a massive help from AI, the outcome should be scrutinized even more than usual - it should be visually consistent and pleasing, either have an interesting story or important message message, etc.. which interestingly doesn't have to be all that advanced for size-limited intro that can defend itself on purely technical grounds, with ok, amateur level artistry and entertaining "here is scary witch" type of "message"/plot. - isokadded on the 2026-03-18 18:29:04

- Cool concept and execution! And frankly, that would be less of a brain rot than actual doom-scrolling ;)

- About the low-effort thing, which seems to be now the main object of critique: sorry to break it down for you, but the view that art must involve visible labor, technical mastery, and so called "effort" is typical for working class aesthetic (Pierre Bourdieu). It makes a lot of sense why, if you think about it. So, no, in general low effort doesn't necessarily mean low value.
