Need list of Polish mags released between 2000-2009

category: offtopic [glöplog]

There is one specific mag (in Polish language) I'm looking for with lots of text. I'm guessing it was released somewhere between 2000 and 2003 since it had some articles by old-school scenes like Atkin, Cash and Simon King. Gfx was pretty plain. I think there was webpage where all the text was stored but I'm not 100% sure.

Were there any other Polish mags released between 2000 and 2009?

My first guess would be Measure. But I'll prepare a list of Polish mags from 2000-2009 for you.

Also check out http://artscene.textfiles.com/mirrors/GRAPE-DEMO-ARCHIVE/diskmags/polish/. This has some mags that are not yet listed at pouet, it seems.

Budyn used to have really loads of texts. But now I have checked out Legend, it is also not so small.

The mag I'm looking for, as far as I remember, had pretty simple gfx.
I think it was in text mode but I may be wrong.

Nope that wasn't Budyn

Maybe somebody would like to write an English review of Polish diskmags, similar to my International Diskmag Encyclopedia (part 1, part 2)? It would be very interesting.

The mags I listed here are in graphical mode. But Measure was in text mode.

If anything, I could review Polish mags between '95 and 2000 since I was active during that time on Polish demoscene and read a lot of mags. But my memory ain't that good anymore.

I used to ran with R.I.P. DeeKay (DK/Grinders) Tankard disk magazine back in the day.

(apart from that, good to see old polish sceners' activity!)

I think Simon King was active mid to late 90s.. maybe a little bit longer than that. That's kinda oldschool, no? :) Used to swap with him.

He contributed ASCII to some of the diskmags that were released around 2000. But it's a long time I haven't seen any new ASCII from him.

Maybe Flicker? There were at least 2 issues, however, if I recall correctly, it was plaintext only.

Flicker? That's quite possible. The mag I'm looking for I got from Cash when
I was chatting with him online a few years ago. It had black background
and one column of text scrolling down. I actually got 2 issues.
One of them had some greenish stuff but I can't remembered what it was.
At the end of later issue, I think issue 2 or 3, they were promising next prod pretty soon but eventually it didn't happen. That mag was between 2000 to 2004 top.
I'm about to Facebook Cash about that but I doubt he remembers anything.

There were lots of good articles. They didn't care about gfx but about the quality of the text.

Forcer: Maybe it was "Anonim" ??? from K!AA (Klub Anonimowych Azkoholików) i remember first issue of them beetwen 2K - 2K3

I'm not sure, any links to the website (if it still exists)? I remember they had all txt on the web. It could be Klub Anonimowych Azkoholików or something similar like MONAR but I don't think it was MONAR's diskmag although there were some articles by MONAR's members.
