you obviously didn't look at what i linked. the image i linked appears to be the source photo or they share a source. exact same angle/size. keito has confirmed its photo in first post on this page.

doing it 'high poly' as-is is probably too much real-time, but with some normal maps. yeah, keito's pic can be real-time ;) .. also, mind the gap (or broken normal in this case.. i was lazy and used booleans that i didnt retopo)

I'm afraid I don't know an easy way to see a preview of a specific revision of a gist. So you'd have to check the list of revisions, click on a revision, and replace the "gist.github.com" hostname by "bl.ocks.org" in the address bar of your browser.

@noby, branch: great stills.

I love to look at this work in progress stuff a lot, it's both inspiring and a sort of warning to try to somehow keep doing something more original at the same time.
