just testing some ideas I got from the loading videos in Alien Isolation. obviously heavily post-processed in photoshop, but imho fairly doable real-time if you know how and where I cheated :)

#if !defined(CORE_PLATFORM_H)
#error "Include Platform.h first!"
#endif

Very exciting stuff, I fully realize.

crazy, the RGB mask on the Picture and the Moiré brings extreme depth in it, feels like 3D a Screen.

Sega genesis/megadrive debug cart that me and travis goodspeed were working on. Only about three of these exist. I had a lot of fun wiring an xmodem "reader" to get the cart data, although it didn't get much use. There's a ram chip on the otherside, this is the romulator. A usb serial chip is also on the other side.

Here's travis goodspeed showing it of at 26c3.

wooooot?!?!? this photo is priceless, as it shows Photon using something different (A600) than his beloved A500!! :))))))))))))))

That A600 is prettty much the ultimate ocs/ecs party-machine.

@Frost: I know - i've been using A600 only for that (parties), but it still fun to see Photon actually working on it. :)))

This is the first part of my upcoming ZX Spectrum 48k demo 'Medicinal Humour'. This part is just supposed to be a joke. The Future Crew bitmap from Second Reality comes up with some music. John comes in from the side, the music stops and a low-res voice sample plays which says, "God Dammit!! I'm in the wrong demo again!!"

kb_: Manual sRGB encode in DX11? But... whyyyyy?! Is this one of those "never trusting hardware sRGB due to XBox 360 butthurt"-thingies? Or is it due to that downright skanky commented-out dithering?
added on the 2014-12-02 10:54:55 by kusma kusma
kusma: The latter (not commented out anymore) plus I already had the shader lying around. But trust me, as soon as I have a better use for the 0.3ms it takes on my shitty laptop GPU at 1080p, I'll replace it with a PS that does dithering first and switch the back buffer to sRGB :)
