I'm pretty sure Microsoft already stated in response to this that they have absolutely no intention of blocking the booting of any alternate operating systems. I guess their word is not good enough for FSF.
Visy, they said so for x86 systems. All ARM systems (Win8 tablets anyone?) will get locked down.
Man. I can see this suck really bad. One more layer of shit with absolutely no gain to users...
