I'm two days from announcing it - just the final clearance with the missus and it's set. Stay tuned... ;)
Looks like I got a free spot from cph too... hope we're not driving too many half-empty cars over there..
Don't think it'll be a problem. Should I add your car to the list of cars with available seats? If so - could you drop me a mail about prefered time of departure and possible pick-up-spots?
I have to check the plans i made with Bsstr, but i would like to do the cph thing as wel and might tag along to trsac from there!

Alright. Everything's clear now. This is the offer:
Thursday 20th october:
I pick up people at either Copenhagen Airport or Copenhagen Central Station.
People drop off their stuff at my place and when everyone's ready, we drive to the center of Copenhagen for a guided tour. My aim will be a mix between the history and the culture. I'll bring a selection of danish beer for the trip - hence no need for costly visits to bars and pubs. Also, I'll arrange for a tour of the seaside of Copenhagen (the canal-tours) as well for those who wants to (You might want to bring a warm jacket for this).
When we get tired, we return to my place, where dinner will be served. I'll throw a few demos on the projector in the livingroom and people can have beer, wine or whatever they may want (that I've got)
Due to the logistics of this pre-TRSAC event, I need to know in advance, how many would like to participate and how many that want a ride to the party the following day. Hopefully, there'll be enough seats available in the cars going from Copenhagen to Aarhus for all of us. Otherwise - we'll figure something out.
Now how about the cost of all this, you may wonder. Well - I'll split it a bit:
Travelling to CPH airport or CPH central station: This is all on your own part
Transport from airport/station: free
Guided tour land- and seaside: free
Beers during the tour: free
Dinner thursday evening: free
Transport to TRSAC: (the expenses of each car will be split evenly between each traveller, but my guess is about 30-35 euro)
Now since I need to arrange for all this, I need people to arrive as early as possible on thursday (no matter how early you arrive, I'll pick you up) so we can spend as much time as possible in Copenhagen. I won't put a limit to how few people need to sign up for this to happen. I'll have a great time anyways, I'm sure :-)

That's what I get for waiting too long, the promotional coach offer from Eurolines has expired :( I still wanna go, tho! So here's the details:
I'd be arriving in Arhus, Rutebilstation - at 13:45 on the 21st October
There is no return coach until 24th October at 16:25 however, so I wanted to ask if somebody here knows or got a place where I could stay over for a night after the party? I'd hate to visit a hotel :P

Punqtured: Well tell you what? I COULD as well travel to Copenhagen on thursday and meet you there!! It would cost pretty much the same plus there is a coach back to Bremen on the 23rd so I'd not waste an extra day after the party. How's that? ... I think I'm going to send you an email :)

You'll get the chance again next year. I know it was a bit late with the event this year, but I hope to be able to host such an event for as long as there's TRSAC.
Punqtured! .. Move Copenhagen to Århus (with an Å) ASAP so I can participate!
Move TRSAC to Copenhagen. Might be a bit harder on the dutch and german, but the swedes and norwegians will approve, I'm sure :-D
Punqtured - we've done that previously, just requires someone local to take the point...
