REVISION 'trade goods' thread

category: offtopic [glöplog]
Hello people,

it's soon REVISION! As last year, it's time for trading our national goods to other stuff! Salmiakki for stroopwafels, and so on!

So, if anyone wants to get something from Finland (popular items last year were salmiakki (turkinpippuri), rye bread and Carelian pastries), just answer here or /msg jenni @ IRCnet or EFnet. I can bring those and trade them to something, or sell them with agreeable price. Of course, if someone's willing to bring me stuff listed below, I'll trade them to something or pay for them.

Things I'd like someone to bring me:

Dutch: AH fruit bubblegum (green bag), at least 3 bags, it's my favourite :) No stroopwafels this year, I still have plenty still left from my Christmas holiday :D
Polish: Zubrowka! (how much it does even cost there per bottle?)
UK: If someone's coming by car, bring cider! (if it's reasonably priced). Germans wouldn't know anything about cider! ;)

Ah, the globalisation <3

Any requests from Scotland? And mind the luggage allowance/100ml policy :)

jenni: your order has been accepted :) Locate me at the party-place and you'll get the Zubrowka in exchange for a good Finnish vodka of your particular choice :)

kbi: A bottle (0.5 - 0.7 litres) of good Finnish vodka costs about 15 euros, how much is Zubrowka in comparison? Just making sure evil Poles don't rip me off! ;)

Hm, blackmarket operations at Revision :)

jenni: 36-40 PLN which roughs to something about 9-10 eur, I guess. No problem though - I can attach one or two beers to make the balance work out ;-)

jenni: forgot to add - i'm talking about 1l bottle here, of course. 0.5litre version has this sad feature that it ends up extremely quickly so I wasn't even taking it into consideration :)

It seems nobody appreciate french liquors :(

kbi: It's OK, I can take the 5 EUR 'loss' ;) Was thinking if it was like 7 EUR, then I would have asked you to bring another bottle ;D So things are in order! :) (for comparison, Zubrowka in Finland costs 22 EUR per 0,7 litre bottle)

D.Fox: This saves a lots of time and money when you don't have to travel around Europe to get all the stuff you want and need! ;)

franky: How much does (sweet) kriek (like Lindemans) cost in Belgium? I might be interested, even though it doesn't fit to that "special / heavy beer" category :)
