I didn't known that was from a demoscener! I really love it! Yesterday I was taking a look of all the entries with my girlfriend. She was impressed by your entry, she said "all of that in only 1kb!?" and "I love how the stars shine!". Same thoughts here.

And really really nice the contest is starting to have quality demos :D

Works even on my iPhone, albeit very slowly. But super-smooth on my PC with Chrome.

Yes, I thought about using it, but I'm not sure of why I didn't... probably because the concept for the effect already fitted in a kb, so I finished it the first day and I submitted it. Then, the second day I tried to compact it a bit, and I was able to add the snow, and now... it is very compact, so, if there are any gains with that trick, maybe I get some, let say, 30 bytes... but I don't know what I would do with these... maybe to try to add a star on the top of tree...

But, I think that I could do a new demo instead with that time, I like the current one as it is.
