So, you made a new version, and you kept the post-processing that "everyone" hated? Sort of an odd design choice :)
maybe i should contact frank sinistra to sing an alternative take as well!

Really, to me it doesn't sound any different from the original, so why bothering changing? I don't know why it can't sound "amateur".
