i was considering to go, but as my current work shifted focus away from games, i won't be able to persuade my manager to make a business trip to GDC. And just paying the $$$ myself for some half-assed expo and topics i have currently no real use for is somewhat out of the question imho. I'm rather considering visiting GamesCom (adjacent to GDC) - yeah shame on me :)
But coming to cologne for having a beer or two might still be possible - let's see..

Why in Germany? The country that's trying to ban games...
i was there. i am ashamed to be german. imagine the cream of european game developers meet in cologne. and what do they do? they serve "gaffel kölsch" beer. a disgrace to german culture.
