initially. i'd like pouet to evolve a bit of course, but as for e.g. the look and mechanisms, well, if it aint broke...
I would like to have some system that alerts me when one of my prods get a new comment. Yeah, I know it is pathetic, but I really like it when a new comment arrives (especially if it is accompanied by an upwards-pointing thumb :D)
Though it is rather easy to check now as well (enter my group name->click group search->sort by last comment date)

when one has a list ( party / group ) it would be cool to have a column that shows which prods one voted already in that list....pig,up,down or X ( not yet voted ).

Instead of having random logos at each pageload, it'd be nice if you could optionally choose a default logo, that is displayed at each visit.

I got a good idea, don't know if it's been mentioned before....
Demos listed by thumbnail only, I know a lot of people can only remember demos by the visuals, would really be a handy idea. :D

gentleman and me thought about an addition for ascii in BB-Code !
so if someone wants to post an ascii have some
[ascii] ascii-stuff [/ascii]
and it switches to one of the fonts there are already in the NFOs when clicked on at pouet !
maybe a second switch to also choose in which of these fonts the ascii should get shown aswell !!?
( as if not every ascii should get seen in topaz-med-res ;) )

Gargaj: ascii mode should insert line breaks after 80 consecutive ocurrences if chars without line breaks ;) so no page butchering this way.
