Did they announce they would make an API out of it? For now it seems more a competitor to second life than a framework for future applications.

Fucking thing doesn't uninstall properly. I'm left with 44 files in C:\Program\Google that I have to delete manually. Wouldn't have noticed unless googleupdate.exe attempted to connect to the interwebs an hour after my uninstall.

i deny the GoogleUpdater to acces the intarwebs in zonealarm (that's what software FWs are for). if i'm not logged into lively, i also disable the lively plugin (that's sooo easy in ff3 :)) - who knows what it actually does if i'm NOT in our breakpoint hall!
