Yes, there will be a bustrip to Breakpoint (room for 40+ people) leaving from Århus this year aswell. Details are not up yet, but hopefully they will be before xmas :)

For that you need to kill an official compo. And the most serious contender is the 64kb compo or the 96kb game compo. And I don't want either of those compos to disapear.

and why would you need to kill another official compo?

xrs: that's what they said last year. They have no time for more compos. You can't add another one, just replace it.

Gargaj: We have exactly 0 slots left in the comp schedule. Every additional official compo added therefore means another one has to be killed (as xrl correctly pointed out).

(Unofficial compos don't really count as they don't use compo team resources.)

Hint to everyone organizing long-distance trips (flights, bustrips etc): Keep in mind that BP2009 is NOT official confirmed yet (but probably will be within the next 2 weeks), so you are taking some risk (which is rather minimal) to book for something that doesn't happen.

What's important however: Due to circumstances I can't yet talk about, there will be absolutely NO chance to enter the location area (not even the parking space) before Friday 12:00 for Breakpoint 2009. There will not be airport busses on Thursday either. If you are booking a flight for Thursday, get yourself a Hotel at the airport or in Bingen (if arrival time permits getting there in the evening on your own).

i wouldn't mind an unofficial tracked music compo either, but... PLEASE, I NEED ONE :D and if everyone is too lazy, i prolly have to do it myself :P

Basicly a) extend the compoteam resources to have an official 64kb intro compo

or b) let some orginize an 'official onoffical' 64kb intro compo

None the less i think alot of sceners are still awaiting a 64kb intro compo at breakpoint..

oouch, thats a downer. The whole arriving on thursday thing has been enjoyable each year. Waking up on Friday, having all your gear set up, no worries....Just going outside and order a beer and breakfast :)
But I guess there is a good reason.....lets hope there wont be too much chaos on Friday at 12:00.
