category: general [glöplog]

Virus Free PD, anyone ever hear or dealt with them?
Yeah i remember them, they had adverts in the back of AmigaFormat iirc, if its the same company i'm thinking about, i have no idea who they were or how to get in contact with them now though, sorry.

Think I remember the ads there too. Hopefully if this guy remembers me, he might still have to old achive about. There was a lot of old rare stuff if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure i still have a number of their disks, have you tried their old address? Failing that i still have every Amiga Format/Amiga Power/CU Amiga/Zero/Amiga Computing...well you get the picture so if i can be arsed i may be able to dig up any alternate addresses.

You're my friend for life! ;)

That's the first labels they used, hah, used to spend ages round Vinces gaff looking though those things! Luckily I've found his email addy, just hope he replies. :)

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to upload the disks with those labels on? Trying to hunt some old stuff out. I have a good load myself, it's just that they're in England and i'm in Northen Ireland. :(
Helloworld: Sorry, my French is non existant. :)
hehe, no problem!

unfortunately, it only works in french :)

... PD means gay, and I even don't know the meaning in this context, but someone looking for a distributor of (virus free) old gays seemed quite a call for a pun!

I've been thinking for 5 minutes about the meaning of this... First I thought that it would be not a problem to upload the content of a disk even if it have a label on, then I thought you wanted a scanned version of the labels for any weird reason... Finally I understood the phrase :P

Hi

Just thought I would mention that the image that you have there of the disks is from my website... May be worth giving credit occassionally to the owner of the disks, images and website so others can see all the other retro related kit and software:

http://www.commodore-amiga-retro.com

Took me a while to find out where the hits were coming from, from this link and another about Deluxe Paint and Electronic Arts. Just the odd mention would be appreciated. Many thanks.

By the way... I have an extensive library of PD disks for the Amiga.
