im not sure if this is the right thread to talk or ask about this, but i didnt bother starting a new thread just because of this. then on with what i was going to tell you and ask about.
im sorting up my harddisk and cd's and once in a while, or in this case i found this demo that is not listed in pouet, not even listed in the scene.org parties section. and i thought why not upload it to scene.org and add it on pouet before i delete it from my harddrive. but the server is closed for incomming stuff. why?
about the production:
i havent checked the production myself, so i dont know if its good or bad, but anyway thats not what the problem is about.
i just wondering if scene.org is still alive, and if its possible to upload productions to it, or if there is some other server out there, that i dont know of where i (and probably everyone else) can upload new and old prods (demoscene stuff)?
for example Megahack IV is not a party listed on either pouet nor scene.org. and i found this demo called Silence by Miranda that competed there. It doesnt matter if it is the only demo that competed, the only thing that matter is that it _is_ a demo, and it competed at a demoparty. and i would like to give it to you before i delete it.
if anyone would like to know some more about the demo or the party, feel free to ask. i just thought that it was right for me to address this issue and tell you this. i havent even seen the demo. but as i said, im sorting up my hd and going through all my cd's and im deleting everything i dont want anymore.

I also have the winning demo from Yodel Conference 8 mark II which is not listed as a demoparty either.
never mind it was, it was the year that wasnt :P
Scene.org is very much alive and not closed from incoming files. We've closed the incoming applications while renewing the application system. If you have demos, just upload them to ftp.scene.org incoming directory and corresponding /demos/parties/ directory (you can create the directories you wish).
