On Monday, the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, will celebrate the C64's 25th anniversary. Computer pioneers will reflect on the C64's achievements and contribution to the industry. Jack Tramiel, the founder and CEO of Commodore, will attend, along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and William C. Lowe, father of the IBM PC.
(the above quote i find amusing because Jack Tramiel was the guy who singlehandledly built AND broke Commodore)
he was a businessman, not an engineer :)
Gargaj, Jack Tramiel was fired from commodore in ~83 after the c64 went to a success. Just read from Dave Haynie (amiga engineer) in a youtube comment that commodore's demise can be compared to a suicide (management). Tramiel was 10 years gone when C= went bankrupt. I can give you "on the edge" if you want to know more :)
Didn't J.Tramiel then go to Atari?
as far as i read he resigned in '84, but that's pretty much nitpickery - yes he did go to Atari afterwards, and set up a business rival Commodore couldnt match up, because Tramiel wasnt there anymore. (not that atari lived much longer)
Love is the power and our purpose in life is to rediscover that power and manifest our unique spirit and energy through creativity.
think love and you will build love and what you love is what you truly ARE. what you hate and fear is a mere distraction from your true self...LET LOVE IN!!!

oh, you don't believe me? you only believe "the experts", science your only yardstick... not long haired hippies who smoke pot all day and speak of love!
