when using no$zx81, xed is nicely integrated and very small.
Despite that, I use Textmate, because the extra hurdles to go through are balanced out by Textmate.

erm. I was just being facetious, but in the end I found your reply actually quite interesting.
I use Smultron and ZXText2P, and then directly hack the binaries as URL-encoded strings, in Javascript.
