How come?

category: general [glöplog]

Your favorite drunken idiot wants to ask question about:

Just watched TLS demo "anytime" with my 5.1 system. Ok. Whole sountrack is copied to all to speakers without any surround effect.

Did i say that my soundcard is auzentech meridian that should decode any stereo mp3 to 5.1? No. It just copy whole fucking mp3 to all the speakers.

But, strange enuff was that TLS "racer iv" demo. Ok, soundcrack was copied to 5.1 where's the fukin surround effect that auzentech promised.

"any audio source will be converted to DTS, no matter if its stereo or mono"

OK, fired up TLS "racer iv". I was amazed. Sound effects(those "aeroplanes") were fantastic.

uses fmod.dll.

So the main drunken question is that how come that TLS demo can handle mp3 soundtrack and effects at the same time?

For example, music is going but if i fart then i can hear it 360, or front to rear speaker? That hangover fart is not coded to soundtrack.

Enivei, ritravill. Ja terviisiin Keopsille :)=
