Jeff Minter's Google Talk: Space Giraffe

I would play GTA on LSD.
I never owned a C64 or Atari so I basically missed all the old Jeff Minter stuff. Then one day a PC mag I bought had a VGA conversion of the "revolutionary" Llamatron game on disk (this was in the days of Doom if I remember correctly :-)
I started up the game, looked at it and my first impression was "WTF kind of crap game is this?" But let's try playing it anyhow...
... it got me hooked for months :-)

same for me with basically any Arena Shooter.
Shanethewolf: "sounds" your right, I only could comment because of that, I met him as I already said. If you had read any of the technical articles he published, he does know what he is talking about. Just whats the point of being like that, most people aren't interested in how music is made, only the 2 channels of audio, the end result.
It's a tuff one in the sense, of like i'm sure you've seen amazing demos by people, but the sceners behind them maybe quiet or un assuming and perhaps not even the best communicators, but their personality shows out in their work.
so it don't conform to whats percieved as standard, who cares, different is good sometimes.

I like how he's playing cracked versions of his own games :)
anyhow, although the talk was more or less the carbon copy of his assembly speech, the game looks like the epitome of drunk fun :)
