They totally did it with more style, though!

well that was weird, the colours were horrible, the inclusion of the planet earth was horrible, it was pretty bad all the way through, visuals i'm talking about here... i'm going to assume you didn't sanction that Gargaj?

the original 64k intro is 10000 leagues better than that music video! imo :)

guyA: "I made this track, it's called "chaos theory". I need a cool looking video video to promote it. But I also like not paying for stuff. Can someone help me out?"

guyA: "cool, thx bro!"

guyB is typing "chaos theory " into youtube search for "reference" and "inspiration"

But I also like not paying for stuff.

I wouldn't want to make that accusation, there's nothing that would imply that.

Mwaha, that "music" is just pathetic - hows using the already overused sample and adding wobbles even a thing?
For the video was their intention to show what Forcer would have chosen as colour scheme? :P

Now this is _really_ strange. I release everything I do for everyone to use for whatever non-profit stuff they like and, whenever possible, includes the Renoise files for everyone to play with. I mean - it's 32k music mainly, so it's not exactly top notch studio mastered. The other day, I found this in which I'm credited. Actually, I'm credited in pretty much all the videos they've posted on Youtube (quite good ones too!) but they actually haven't used the music at all :D The original is from Wobble The Fuck but the music from that is definitely not in their videos. WTF?! :D

Punqtured: they probably replaced it in editing, but forgot to change the credit-text.

With regards to the "Chaos Theory"-thing -- when I heard I literally ran out of WTFs.

scene music stolen? music can not be stolen. it is like digital information.
it can just be played. and if you made some music, why would you be against it being played? is that not what you want?music can not be stolen. this thread must be wrong.

I disagree. If somebody else is making money with songs that YOU have written without your explicit permission to do so, it is of course stolen music! Sure you want people to play your tunes but NOT FOR PROFIT and not under false artist identity!

Anyone repeating this pirate bullshit is a complete idiot.

and what the fuck is "digital information" ? unless we're talking about 1's and 0's as opposed to stuff printed on a page?

Even if it perhaps can't be stolen, you have to admit that it's a bit rude to reuse someone's music for profit and without attribution.

Bear in mind that you're all arguing against a comment made by vibrator, who has a slightly "unorthodox" opinion on these things, namely that *all* property ownership is wrong and that the entire system of capitalism will collapse on December 31st this year (have I got that right?)

Say what you will about that world view, but you've got to admit it's more self-consistent than most of the "wah somebody stole the idea for a logo I did for a cracktro" brigade.

More like rude people stole my demo... that song only misses a "This is a song. It's playing really loud." looping over the entire song.
